Paradise Garden
Welcome to Paradise Garden, in the beautiful Hill Country of south-central Texas, here to assist with your landscaping needs. Hand-made planters, garden art, and massage therapy are also offered.
Paradise Garden is a home-based, sole proprietorship located in Wimberley, Texas, where I have resided since 1993. Wimberley is located between Austin and San Antonio, and approximately 15 miles west I-35 and San Marcos.
I spent my early years in the desert and mountains of southern Arizona and in the hills of east-central Oklahoma. With a degree from Oklahoma State University, I moved to Texas in 1972, and obtained state registration as a landscape architect in 1975. I have worked for various landscape companies, nurseries, and a park department, as well as being self-employed for a considerable time. My design projects have included many in Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, and southern California, from the most humble home and office landscapes to the most elegant estates and high-rise developments. My favorite projects have always been those in which I assist individual homeowners in creating their own personal paradise.
A life-long appreciation for the natural world led to my self-publication A Hill Country Nature Book in 2004.
And a long term interest in yoga, dance, and wholistic therapies and lifestyles motivated the development of a second career, massage therapy, which I have practiced since 1991.
